hey everyone!

So, after successfully styling with the lace up sandals I've decided to do more of these posts. One of the reasons is that I buy far too many clothes, probably more than my bank balance can handle! Instead of allowing myself to be more creative and experimenting with different looks, I do have tendencies to buy more and forget about a lot of clothes. Before I know it, I could have spent more than half my wages on things I probably won't ever again, when realistically the money could have went towards more important things like a little pad with my boyfriend.

So, here we go with my first look styling with the aline skirt, quite  possibly the most versatile trend pieces this season and can be paired with almost anything. Of course the instant attraction was the beautiful burnt terracotta colour, I knew it'd fit right in with my 70s inspired wardrobe. I paired up the skirt with my old trusty thigh high boots. At first I wasn't sure about the combination however, the shortness of the skirt and length of the boots contrast nicely, playing advantage to my small petite frame.

Hope you enjoyed this post, stayed tuned for the second look with the aline!

3. Minimalist

lace up gladiators - Public Desire (buy here)
Panel white dress - mango (sold out)
Fedora - Primark
Hello everyone!
So today is the last and final look styling with the Public Desire lace up sandals. I wanted to keep this look as minimalistic as possible to show how these lace ups really do transform a simple white outfit to a more daring 'turning heads' one.

I picked up the beautiful panel dress from Mango, just in time for the beautiful weather. It had been something I've been eying up for ages, and as soon as it went into the sale there was just far too much temptation. It had to be mine! It features a gorgeous beaded panel and criss cross details at the front and It's Light and floaty fabric is perfect for wrapping chunky belts around to compliment my waist. I also had to add my fedora, yes another outfit post with a hat. However it's just one of those items that as soon as I wear it, it boosts my confidence, and adds a little sass into my outfits.

Hope you enjoyed no 3 outfit 'styling with the lace ups' stay tuned for my next outfit post featuring all things terracotta and Aline!
