The Christmas outfit

Hello everyone! Sorry this post is a little late. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed spending a few days stuffing your faces! As I know I did, I mean it's the only time of year when it's acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast? Eeeek

So today my post will consist of what I wore on Christmas Day. It's tradition In my family to always wear something pretty, however not too glitzy as most of your day includes lounging/loads of eating/ watching home alone and drinking loads of wine with your mum so I always opt for an outfit that's comfortable yet, still feels festive and elegant.

And I couldn't go wrong with this dress, that  I purchased from Topshop. I am huge fan of green, but I also love the beautiful mixture of dusty pinks through the dress. It's also one of those dresses where you could easily wear all day with a pair of brogues, or dress it up with your favourite heels for your New Years party. Which actually might be my chosen dress this year, as I'm still undecided about what I'm doing so it'll be a little life safer when the night comes.

I teamed the dress with my camel cape coat also from Topshop, my New Look boots and my fidora hat from Primark.

Ps hope you all have a lovely new year. My new year resolution: More positive vibes, new career, expanding within my blogging hopefully! Has anyone got any this year?

The leopard print

Camel Cape Topshop | roll neck polo Topshop | Leapard print skirt River island | boots New look

Hello beautiful dolls

so if anyone follows me on Instagram then you'll know I have a little guilty love for leopard print.

However It can be tricky at times to wear but I always think less is more so don't over crowd your outfit with loads of prints as it can be quite dangerous but this is something I'm personally not a fan off. My top tip is think Simple when styling with leopard print. Great combos are black and white. And if you are a little scared about wearing crazy prints stick to neutral colours as they tend not to grab too much attention, and hold a lot of chic and elegance.

Here I've opted a laid back casual look with my roll neck polo top purchased from Top shop, I honestly love the colour and feel It compliments my skin tone. My black booties from New look, comfy but so stylish. Then lastly my camel cape coat which i recently bought. A great alternative coat for those weather bearable days outside. What do you think? And has leopard print sneaked it's way into your wardrobe this season ?

Winter hair care

Hello my lovelies
yay!! Currently in my favourite time of the year being December,  However as much as we all love it mostly as its nearly Christmas. The frosty mornings, cold winds and lack of sunlight really does take an toll on our once luscious hair we had in the summer, to experiencing more brittle, dry and dull hair..  (Sighs)

So I have gathered today my ultimate favourite staple products which help me through the winter months.

For my shampoo and conditioner I really don't have a cult favourite. However one product that I continuously turn back to after every month or so is the wonderful Aussie. My favourite one being miracle moist, which is infused with Queensland macadamia nut oil, well known for nourishing dry damaged hair so therefore my hair saviour shampoo and conditioner when it's in dire straits. So if you are like me and dealing with the after math of a continuos cycle of dying your hair these will definitely do the trick of hydrating and adding life back into your locks again. In all honesty one of the few products I feel help my brittle, dry hair. The bottle is full of magic! Not to mention that it smells like a dream even after hours of washing.

It may be a little more pricey than your bottle of herbal essence or Garnier but they are totally worth the money and almost any time I am in super drug they always have a offer running wither it being 2 for 1 or 2 for £10.00 on the bigger bottles so it usually works out the same if you buy at the right time, so I would recommend stocking up.

An alternative I use as a little treat is The Bodyshop Banana shampoo and conditioner. I remember I bought these last summer and ever since when ever I see them in The Body Shop I always pick them up. Mostly because I love bananas so why not use it on your hair! First things first though I need to highlight  that they are as not as hydrating as the Aussie shampoo so I usually mix the two products together, So It may not be that one to go product for needing moisture. However both these products make my scalp and hair feel so clean yeah almost 'squeaky clean' which means i can  usually go 2 days without washing my hair therefore avoiding my hair drying out as much. Another reason I love these is they brighten up my dull brassy hair and leave it shiny, soft and detangled. I definitely recommend buying this product as they are reasonably priced round £3.00 for each of them and are great for pamper nights.

Ps - Avoid buying if you do not like sweet smells as it may not be your cup of tea.
Moving on to the Argan hair oil. My favourite being Naturoil Argan hair oil which Is 100% natural ingredients. I would normally apply this after washing my hair to damp (try and avoid the scalp area as it may leave it oily) Its optional but I leave this in for usually the full night then wash out in the morning. Now I know some of you might not like the idea of going to bed like a greaseball, however it's totally worth It as I feel I do tend to get the best results when my hair has been soaked in the oil over night rather than just the 10 minutes.

I would honestly recommend buying this, been using it for a couple of years and it's just became one of my staple products which I religiously use every week! It does wonders for my hair. After every use my hair feels so soft, reduces fizziness and leaves a lovely glossy finish to my hair, and from using the product long term I have also noticed over the years my hair has got a lot more thicker and healthier looking. Amazingly this hair oil can be picked up from any bargain store for as little as a few pounds so it's definitely great for anyone running on a tight budget at this time of year.
Anther overnight hair treatment I use is the Body Shop rainforest hair butter mask for dry hair which was purchased for about £3.00. This might suit people who do not like oil based products at it is non greasy. Again you don't need to leave this treatment in over night. Usually if I've been in a rush I'll pop it on for 5 minutes or even use it instead of my conditioner as a little pick me up in the morning. It's also a great mask to use after using any heavy products like hairspray the night before.
So the very last product I use in my hair just before drying my hair is the Keratin weightless oil spray which I bought in Super drug for £4.99 on offer. This is an essential need in my hair as it soothes the fuzziness of my hair when blow drying and leaves it feeling so soft and more manageable  to style with.

Like the argan oil, the keratin oil has done endless benefits in improving my hair strength and fullness. So for those trying to combat thin limp hair this should be your next purchase. You also don't need to worry about your hair feeling heavy or greasy as this is light in texture yet so moisturising and hydrating when instantly sprayed on the hair and leaves your locks lusciously shiny.

Sundays best

Cigarette pants Topshop | Shell top New Look | Camel coat Monki | Pointed shoes Primark | Fedora hat Primark | Floral necklace Asda | Tote bag Missguided

Hello all,

I've been meaning to show you all this outfit for ages! It's definitely my Sunday best outfit and if you've noticed from my previous posts then you would have gathered that I am totally crushing over any tailored cigarette pants. It's really weird, as I would never have imagined me wearing them about a year ago but now I have been opting more towards a trouser choice, pushing my skirts and dresses to the back of my wardrobe. It could be the chilly weather of course ?

These ones I have on were purchased from Topshop at £40.00. It was the beautiful dusty pink colour that made me want to buy them, I couldn't resist. I teamed these up with a white shell top purchased from New look. The perfect combination of colour to add chic to any outfit and my nude pointed shoes. Yes, I know they are so inappropriate for the winter but I couldn't help myself snapping them up for only £6.00 out of Primark. It was a 'I must buy these' situation and I'm so glad I did, as they go perfectly with this outfit. I also added a floral Burgundy necklace and my beloved fedora hat to finish of my look. Oh and didn't forget to throw my camel coat on.

What are your Sunday best outfit?

Just below the knee

As all of you bloggers or random fashion lovers will have noticed that the knee high and even more daring thigh high boots are back for the winter. Although your first impressions are: I wouldn't be able to pull it off, or what am I going to wear with these beautiful boots? Yes these were also questions buzzing through my head too.

However after a night of experimenting with different outfits I have actually come to the conclusion that you wear them without looking too 'Pretty women', And It doesn't really matter which pair you choose, knee high which I opted for or thigh high, they both show as much elegance and are so versatile to work with. From wearing skirts and shift dresses throughout the week to your favorite slouchy jumper at the weekend these elegant boots are a must have in every wardrobe.

Ps - and they don't need to be Givenchy I picked these ones up from Primark for £20.

Here are a few of my favorite outfits styled with my boots. What do you think ?
